Laurie Herring - A true force of nature who always fought for those who couldn’t fight for themselves.
Laurie Long Herring entered God’s Kingdom Wednesday, September 15, 2021. She spent her life advocating for others. Laurie was the Executive Director of the Mary & Martha House in Ruskin, Fl. She loved to travel, walk along the beach, she marveled at sunsets and rainbows. Laurie loved Jesus. Her family was so very important to her, and she was the most loyal of friends.
Laurie was loved and cherished by many including: her husband Christopher Herring; her children, Mark Eric James and his wife Natasha James, and Ashley Mattson & her significant other Brad Archer; her parents John F. Long III and Ann Long; her siblings, John F. Long IV, his wife Jeaninne, Amanda A. Long and Amy Long Pacheco and her husband Dan Pacheco. She was also cherished by her 5 grandchildren.
